Best of British Day 5 - fly the flag

Day 5 already, time flies when you are having fun.  Talking about flying - it is time to fly our flag....................more about that a little later.  First off, our sponsor for today is Stamposaurus.  We know both Kevin and Jayne as fellow exhibitors at the exhibitions.  Check out their website here for a delightful selection of goodies.

......back to flag waving.  I used a Stamposaurus stamp to create my card for today.

but there is more..............

Never decorated the inside of a card before, but it looked so empty, when you untied the soldier ribbon here, that I felt as if I had to do something.  A strip of Best of British ribbon and a few buttons finished it off nicely.  Well I think it does!  The card blank was one I had left over from Which Craft, our Sponsor from the first day of this event.

Oooh nearly forgot my litle ribbon tag poking out from the edge of the card.  I do like this technique, maybe it is because I am a seamstress at heart and like sewing in name tags!

Stamposaurus have given us a wicked stamp set. You should all know what to do, but just in case... For a chance to win you have to leave your details on our Inspiration blog here. (We would love you to leave a comment with us as well, but for a chance of the prize it must be on the blog below.)

Todays creation from the Basingstoke Crafting Girls is this super cute cross stitch soldier.  From memory it is Lindsey and Mel that are the cross stichers.  He is perfect girls and look, I see he has a ribbon tag, all the best have ribbon tags!!!!

Thank you once again girls for your creation, I forgot to ask Sharon how her finger was, she burnt it while making the candle I shared yesterday.  Hope it is better and you are playing with the top secret ribbons.

Ooooooh did you all think the KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON RIBBONS were the only TOP SECRET Ribbons that had arrived.........silly..........there are more.  I started crafting with them yesterday, I did have fun they are so unique, once again we are sure there are no other ribbons like them.

But you will have to check back tomorrow to see what they are....................tee hee.
