I woke up this morning and decided today was the day I was going to tackle my "play" room (as Tony calls it!).  It was the only area in the warehouse that had not been put right after the burglary.  For almost 2 weeks I have avoided going into my room.

Armed with a cup of tea, I made my way up the stairs.  God what a mess, drawers fully open, cupboard doors wide open, everything on the floor, worse than my best ever day crafting!!!

Heating on full blast, windows wide open I went for it.  After a while I heard myself saying " OH! I forgot I had that", "I've looked for those everywhere", "Must use those".

Everything is back in order, books on shelves, gadgets and papers in cupboards.  Anything missing? Not too sure until I start playing again tomorrow.  At least I have blown away the bogey men!!

We have just received this email in the office from a Happy Customer.  Just a reminder that our January Pack Sale ends at 6pm on Saturday.  Thanks for new order Annie, we will have a word with the postman for you!!

Tina has sent in these wonderful Valentine cards from our Ribbon Challenge # 1.  We love the way she has folded the ribbon to create the heart, and then held it in place with a couple of brads - great idea.

Thought we would share this with you, Bev brought this in this morning to show us.  She made it to send off to "Milkshake" TV for her son Sam, also known as Cookie Monster in the office!!.  She used a black and white check ribbon around the outside of the picture, which toned in well with the Rory theme.  (Sorry we have sold out of this ribbon, it was in the Black & White Pack in the January Pack Sale).  Good luck Bev, we will keep our fingers crossed that it is shown on TV.

Our Hand Dyed Variegated Silk Ribbon is back in stock!  Yes it has taken a long time, but we assure you it has been worth the wait.

13 wonderful scrummy colours, and it is a dream to work with.  Ali made this delightful little hat. Who else to model it but our little Mollie.

 

The little pink hat has been knitted and crocheted, then Ali used 3 different colours of the silk ribbon to make the flowers and leaves. The bow has been secured down with french knots also using the silk ribbon.  We think it is wicked.

Welcome back Rachie. She rejoined our team yesterday after her short maternity leave to have Mollie.  What with the fun of the January Pack Sale and the distress of the break in she decided she missed us.  AAHH!!

We had planned to have a big cake, but sadly we put the celebrations on hold as Tony's mother passed away yesterday.  Tony and Ali were booked on the night ferry to start their 3 week tour of the French exhibitions starting with Montpellier.  They are sorry they will be missing the Creativa show but hope that some of their regular customers will come and see them in Paris in a few weeks time.

Our thoughts are with you Tony. x

Cards have been arriving from our Ribbon Challenge #1 -  thank you all so much.  They are really wonderful and I can not wait to put them on display on the exhibition stand next wednesday. Their first outing is in Montpellier in the South of France, sorry we do not need any help setting the stand up!!!

Thanks everyone  

A huge "Thank You" for all your wonderful emails and telephone calls we received over our break in, from customers, friends and colleagues.  It is good to hear such nice comments, and we all needed the support yesterday.  We are a small team and we all took it very badly.  After a late finish yesterday and an early start this morning, everything has been put away, cleared up and re stacked - Crafty Ribbons is back!
