............to everyone that came to see us as at the Stitch & Craft Show at Olympia. We had a record breaking show, Thursday, Friday and Saturday were just unbelievable. I stood on the stand on Saturday evening trying to work out how I could fill the gaps!! There was no stock left in the stock room and the van was empty. In the end we just removed ribbons from other pegs and filled the holes.
It was great to meet more of our blog followers and we were treated to a super surprise on Sunday......
..............we had twelve of these given to us. Ribbon and button cupcakes, how fab, and they taste just as delish as they look. Lindsey promised Tony some of her cupcakes, but she made plenty for him to share.........
.................and they made it back to Dorset!! Bev and Rachie enjoying their treat this morning. Thank you Lindsey, Andrea, Mel and Sharon for coming to see us and hope you all had a fab Mothers Day meal out.
Sorry you did not hear from me last week, I had planned to post and had uploaded several of the Baby washing line creations to share, but the hotel wanted £14.99 per night for wi-fi!!! Please do not think me cheap, BUT I thought that was such a ridiculous amount to charge that I refused. I could have gone and sat in the lounge with the other guests to get FREE wi-fi but thought they may have felt a bit uncomfortable with me wearing my spotty PJ's!
Just waiting for Mollie to get home from school and then I am off home too. We all had a busy morning, after off loading the exhibition stand we decided to put all the ribbons away so that the stand could go into storage as it will not be needed until September. That's right no more shows until SEPTEMBER.
So.......... the girls gave away my NEW button boxes as a Friday FREEBIE prize. "Ummph, ummmph" I went when I found out! They were due on the website last Tuesday but Sue phoned in sick so I helped re-stock the stand and did not find the time to do any computer work. So who is going to be lucky and win the NEW button boxes..............NO still not going to tell you what they are.......still a surprise!
Mollie picked number......................
Number 15 = Victoria
I love your button boxes, and it would be wonderful prize to win. Always hunting around for the right buttons for projects so it's nice to have a good stash of them.
Oh Victoria you are in for a treat, we sold out of these three button boxes at Olympia, thankfully Rachie and Bev had squirelled away your prize before we left. Please email us your address to craftyribbons@gmail.com so you can start playing with your NEW buttons.
Thank you to everyone that left super comments, I read them all in the van on the way home last night, much to Tony's annoyance due to the white glare of my phone screen!!
Bye for today.
