Hold your ears eveyone I am about to shout........."THANK YOU TO EVERYONE THAT CAME TO VISIT US IN EXETER" you made it an amazing show.
Crafty Ribbons had not attended a retail show since March, and we really did not know what to expect in these hard times. On the Wednesday (setup day) we were hearing horror stories of the shows being between 30 to 60% DOWN!!! WOW that would hurt. We got told not to expect a busy time - oh dear all that work and effort from the team they would be devastated.
The doors opened at 9.30am and the customers poured in. We made our first sale at 9.35 and we did not stop!! We sold out of the NEW Vintage Tree Ribbon and the Vintage Little Houses during the first day. We had another supply in the lorry but we were too busy for Tony to leave to go and get it. We have NEVER sold out of a whole peg of ribbon in one day before, let alone two designs.
You LOVED all our ribbons and buttons and for that we truly thank you. By Sunday morning the stand was looking rather ransacked, but by spreading the ribbons around a bit we hope we gave our Sunday customers a good showing. When I caught up with Facebook last night and clicked on a link from Jo and her daughter, both Sunday customers and blog followers, it made my day. Have a read here.
Bev could not bring herself to look at the empty stand yesterday, deciding to attack the pile of internet orders from the weekend first. She is going to have rather a shock this morning. You may even hear her screams!!!
I have been busy sending out all the prizes from our masssive Exclusive ribbon launch today, so fingers crossed they should be with you tomorrow. Mollie and Sam helped me pick the winner of this weeks Friday FREEBIE from last Tuesday!!

Well done everyone! I hope Exeter goes really well Ali - I'm sure the new ribbons will go down a storm. I can't blame medication as an excuse for my forgetfulness, only being a certain age and a busy life but hey!!
Love the new Bev's bag and thanks for the chance to win.

Congratulations ladies! These are all such beautiful and unique ribbons
Sounds like the medication you have is pretty potent! I hope that even though it's affecting your memory that it is at least doing it's job for the pain It must be nice to have the medication to blame - I just seem to go through phases or being forgetful with no good reason for it!
Will the lucky girls please email me their address to craftyribbons@gmail.com to claim their prize. Thank you to everyone that left us a comment, we love all your comments.
Have an enjoyable evening, I have a wicker garland, silver bells. red ribbon and our exclusive jingle bells ribbon, laid out on my carpet.........I have an idea!!!!
