Friday FREEBIE - 20

We certainly have had a busy week, what with being raided by Pirates and then capturing their treasure chest and finding it filled to the brim with Skull and Crossbones ribbons. And I know Bev has decided that Summer has arrived.  It was her day off yesterday but she popped into the office to put together her NEW Bev's bag - she had been sitting in her garden enjoying the sun shine with Sam and thought oh "A Splash of Summer"

So this is Bev's NEW Ribbon Bag - Summer Splash.

WOW what striking colours Bev and I see you have sneaked in two of the LOVE ribbons! If you fancy a Summer Splash Bev's Bag you can find them here. Still the great price of £5.00

So what would you like for this weeks Friday FREEBIE prize.....are you into pink and lime and some Summer Splash.....or would you like some of these treasures.....

That's correct you can pick your Friday FREEBIE prize this week - A Bev's NEW Ribbon Bag or a Collection of Pirate Ribbon.  I am feeling very generous so how about 4 prizes, so 4 lucky readers can have lots of ribbons to play with.  All you have to do for a chance to win is leave us a comment. I have mentioned this several times but sometimes our spam filters eat your comments!! Please just email it to me at craftyribbons@gmail.com and I will add it for you - can't have you missing out on some FREEBIE ribbon.

This is the last collection of Seam Binding ribbon goodies - it has just been amazing showing you all the new and wonderful techniques that everyone came up with.  If you have been thinking about giving Seam Binding a try, then go for it, we are postive that you will not be disappointed. You can find all the colours here.

This last collection is by Linda who has created some unique pieces from crocheting and finger weaving the seam binding.

Cor I am a fan of crocheting (as I can not knit) but never thought of trying it with ribbon.  This hair grip is stunning Linda, you could also use it as a brooch..  I sent 1mtr(ish) lengths out to all the challengers but Linda thinks that a 5mtr length would work better for this technique then you would not have to join two colours together.

And this little ring to match your summer outfits would be simple and I assume quite quick to make.

Linda used finger weaving with two colours of seam binding to make this wonderful bracelet - so effective. Just tie it in place and go!

Look at the detail, the seam binding almost moulds together.

I believe this is also finger weaving - love the colour combo.  Linda finished this bracelet with a barrel clasp.

We would like to thank everyone that joined in with the Seam Binding Challenge - it has been the longest challenge we have done.  The numbers were larger and everyone had put so much time and creativity into their products that extra close up photos were required. You all created such stunning creations.

I am now FREE to start ripping open those button parcels that have been calling me.......oooooh the urge to get stuck into them has been huge......my self control has been second to none!!!

Sorry I forget to mention earlier in the week that Lucy had a fantastic wedding and said she had a wonderful daughter.  She would like to thank everyone for their good luck messages and has promised us a photo or two.

Have an awesome weekend everyone, enjoy the weather and have fun.
