Hello wednesday - Dotty Hearts

Don't you just LOVE wednesday's? Say hello to wednesday  "hello wednesday" It's all down hill from now on to the weekend - yippee!!!

I just had to, I did. I have been so busy that I had not found time to play with my NEW Organza Swiss Dot Ribbon. I would go into the warehouse in the morning and take a sneak peak at the colours, do a little bit of oohing then walk away. As for getting my hands on it and using it - no way. I have been chained to the computer again all week - we are nearly there.

So last night I took the Organza Swiss Dot Ribbons (HERE) home and curled up on the sofa, with ribbons on one side and beads the other, and this is what I made.

Very simple necklaces, one each for Sydney, Mollie and not forgetting Sam!  If I hadn't made one for him he would have been really upset!

The ribbon was really wonderful to work with and slipped through the bead holes without even using a needle. The heart beads came from an elasticated bracelet that I cut up, it had loads of beads on it for just £2.00.

I thought the hearts were just perfect to be set off by the ribbon colours.  No clasps or anything used, just a simple knot to hold everything in place. There is a right and wrong side to this ribbon, but the printing quality is almost perfect on the wrong side!

I enjoyed my play and went on to make more necklaces and a few bookmarks, Rachie runs a craft stall on Sundays so I made a few extra to give to her.

Hope you are going dotty with our ribbon!
