Best of British Day 11 - four flowers

Oooh late again with my posting, blame it on the weather. It was such a fantastic weekend weather wise that I did not feel like sitting down at the computer preparing todays post - sorry.

Crafty Individuals kindly donated two prizes for our Best of British event so this is their second day with another fab collection of stamps for the prize.

So have you put your name on the prize list?  You can go back the past 10 days and enter your name to win.  You have to do this on our Inspiration blog and you can find it here .

Mandy sent me a set of four flowers stamped using a multi ink pad, they look wicked I hope she likes what I turned them into.

The stamps were so stunning that I felt it only needed a little ribbon.  I matted and layered the stamps onto gold card then fixed them onto a really wide red velvet ribbon.  My card was only long enough for 3 of the stamps, so I made a kind of buckle from the fourth with our princess ribbon here.

While making this card a fight broke out with my young crafters, something to do with not sharing the glue.  This just started as I had peeled of the double side tape from the the back of the red card, I turned round to see what was going on and dropped my card.  It landed onto the back cream card but not how I wanted it.  To save the card rather then starting again, the little red lace was added at the side.

Whether my crafting buddies improved the design or not I do not know.  But they were given a crafting ban, no crafting in Ali's room for one afternoon!

DO NOT FORGET  if you want those stamps then go and leave your details on our Inspiration blog here.  While there have a browse at all the Design Teams Inspiration.
