Best of British Day 14 - Dies to die for

Another super sponsor for our Best of British event today.

I can not take the credit for the colouring of this image, that was done for me by Mandy.  But I did make the card!

It is such a sweet little image, I thought it needed soft sweet little papers, ribbons and a few flowers. I used two ribbons - Cute as a button from our Baby Washing Collection here and a narrow one that I could thread through the holes of a button.  I tried 3mm satin but it looked a bit plain so decided on Juicy Fruits, the colours matched perfectly and you can find it here

Next those buttons, I had to use buttons!  These flower bloom ones are so super cute they fitted the bill perfectly, and at only £4.50 for a box of flower bloom buttons they are a bargain.  Look them up here.

It is strange how some cards come together in a flick of a few moments and others take half a morning!!! Are you like that?

I wonder what the Design Team girls came up with?  Check out their creations here, and DO NOT forget to enter your name for todays prize. I am sure you know what to do to enter for todays prize, leave your name on our Inspiration blog here. (We would love you to leave a comment with us as well, but for a chance of the prize it must be on the blog below.)

Only two days left of prizes, so get your name on those lists.  I will be a little sad when the event is over, I have really enjoyed my card making.  I am not finding it as scary as I used too.  But to be honest I am looking forward to a lie in......................All the other blogs, the Inspiration one and the design team girls are run on Blogger and they can pre schedule their posts to go live at 8.30am every morning.......BUT not ours, we have to press the button!  Ummmmm yes I have been late a few days......hey ho it is only fun.

Love it or hate it?

Sorry but not for me.  I must admit that I have not tasted it, but then I can not get the bread close enough to my mouth to take a bite - it is the smell......................I have seen these jars in the supermarket and what a perfect gift for a lover of Marmite. Great idea Sharon and the gang to turn them into super cool prezzies.

I think the Tatties here are likers of Marmite.  I do like their little hearts, decorated with ribbons and buttons - of course!

Poor Tattie has so many different hearts he has no idea which one to pick.  Thanks Sharon, Lindsey, Mel and Andrea not sure which one of you made these fab hearts, but thanks for sharing them with us.
