Our NEW Daisy Chain Ribbons truly hit the spot with our ribbon challengers, we received some fantastic goodies for our ribbon Challenge # 7 - they took our breath away. Daisy Chain comes in 3mtr lengths for £2 and there are 5 scrummy colours - Lime - White - Lilac - Lemon - Pink. 18mm sheer ribbons with printed daisies that look as if they have been hand painted, a delicate scallop trim has been added to both edges of the ribbon. I know I am easily pleased, but I do think this photograph captures the charm and fun of this small collection of ribbons - hope you also like it.
Without further ado here are the projects from Ribbon Challenge # 7. There are so many different projects that I am posting half today and the balance tomorrow.
Amanda surprised us with this delightful pair of dungers and hair band. (Syd was too big and Mollie was to small to model them for me!)
A close up of the Daisy Chain bow on the hair band.
And the trim detail on the dungers, what a brilliant idea and such fun
Beryl made this teddy card, I just think the inside is wicked and rather cheekie!
Beryl also made this collection of boxes, a treasure on their own.....
....But when opened they do contain treasure!! The little scroll message reads " Time passes... friendship stays right where it is put!"
Look at this adorable little hedgehog (did anyone else fall for Spud on telly?!) Carols has his spines and looks rather happy.
Carol also created this dancing cat with flowers - the flower made with ribbons is just perfect.
Carol F sent me another ATC to add to my collection, at what stage do I have to swap? Great idea using the ribbon as a frame - I like that!
"If you go down to the woods to day...." This teddy from Carol F has been decoupaged, he looks very much like the teddy Beryl used, maybe his brother!
Dorothy sent us an awesome collection of goodies, this is her teddy card also decoupaged - called Daisy & May.
This card looks like a shop window to me, with lovely lacy curtains.
This card has a wonderful butterfly and flower pop out section in the centre, but I forgot to photograph it - sorry Dorothy.
This is Dorothys last creation, she said she got rather carried away with ideas for these lovely ribbons. Thank you Dorothy.
This card is from Jan - welcome back Jan we missed you, hope you are feeling much better.
Jan I think this card is gorgeous, the colours are so scrummy - I know it has no Daisy Chain ribbon on it, but we also sent a collection of skinny ribbons as well. See what you can do with "bog" standard satin ribbon!!!
Linda has stitched the skinny ribbon through the scallop edges of the daisy ribbon - clever.
Linda's daughter also joins in with the challenges, this is a very elegant card Cath.
Maggie sent in this gift tag and card, the little girl is called Daisy. I wish I could colour in like this - gorgeous.
Maggie said it felt like Christmas when her parcel arrived, she clams to have "limited" sewing skills - I don't think so, this bag is a dream, think I might keep my sweeties in it. SHH don't tell Sydney!
Tony is complaining that he is hungry and wants to go home - men (just as I am having fun!!!). Hope you have enjoyed Amanda's through to Maggies goodies. Log on tomorrow to see Margaret's through to Wilmas.
OK Tony I am nearly finished.
