Hand delivery

I had my first hand delivered Challenge parcel for Colour Create.

Janet found us back in the spring.  Although we have been in Blandford for nearly 16 years, we keep ourselves to ourselves! A unit on Clump Farm, down Tin Pot Lane, you have no need to pass it, it is not on the way to anywhere.  I can not remember how Janet found us, we get a few visitors to the warehouse, but Janet comes bearing gifts.

Look what was in the bag - two beautiful wrapped tubes, (what a clever idea to re-use these delicious snacks) and a wrapped prezzie.  I remember Janet telling me there was something for ALL in one of the tubes............... ummmm.

Yummmy that's elevenses sorted - thanks Janet.  Janet pops in to see us most weeks, so she must have picked up the vibe that we like our biscuits!!  The only problem now is to work out who's turn it is to make the tea...NOT mine!

Next was the yellow prezzie, the brightness of the tissue paper was calling out to be opened........WOW Janet that bag is awesome.

Look at the detail, truly wonderful.  Do you give lessons Janet? I can crochet but not like that.  The little bag has even got a little popper to stop it from opening.

Did you see the little bracelet that was in with the purse?  It uses 2 colours of 3mm satin ribbon and looks to be braided, but I can not seem to work out where the second colour disappears to, unless its braided on top of it.  Maybe Janet will leave us a comment explaining it or I will ask next time she visits.

Next was the yellow tub, and more wrapped prezzies fell out. The box looks like one of our button boxes, I think Janet has purchased every single one of our button boxes, she even saw the NEW colours before they were launched!

I do know how to make these flowers, and so do you...........yes you do.......you can find the instructions here.  It is just amazing what you can do with ribbon!

Three little treasures - A crochet cupcake, a button ring and a button necklace. I love the cupcake, it is sooooo sweet, sorry I do not seem to have taken a close up photo of it.  Janet has been wearing this type of button necklace while visiting us, she tells me they are easy to make!

Once again Janet has used her crocheting skill and worked her magic on these buttons to make this gorgeous necklace.  Janet has made me another necklace with instructions that I will share with you at a later date, I need to go off and practice my crocheting a bit first!  I can not tell you how to make something, if I have not tried to do it.

Thank you Janet for finding us, thank you for visiting us. Janet has seen all the warehouse improvements over the last few weeks, she has seen us in a total state of disruption, probably felt the vibes of unhappy staff members because I have moved the ribbons AGAIN! It's nice having local customers.
